-----Investigation in electroless Ni-P deposits
Hello. My question is: why with increase in phosphorus content of electroless Ni-P deposits, the hardness of deposits decreased.

It has to do with the way the atoms adhere to each other or are attracted by neighbors. Remember that above a certain P level, electroless nickel is an amorphous solid solution of nickel and phosphorous (no crystals, no lattice, no arrangement). Very much like salt water.
