-----Nickel Sulphamate Solution
2007
Sir;
1) Can I use Sodium lauryl sulphate as Wetting Agent for Nickel Sulphamate solution. If possible, What is the ratio?
2) Can I use Cobalt Sulphamate as a hardener for Nickel Sulphamate solution? If it possible, what is the ratio?
- New Delhi, India
Yes to both. SLS is usually used at between 0.1 and 0.5 g/l and cobalt sulphamate can be added to the level required to produce the desired hardness. It is usual to use between 1 and 20 g/l cobalt sulphamate as cobalt, but this will affect the deposit hardness.
