Lemon juice energy?

Q. Hi...I am doing a science project and I need to know if you can use lemon juice as an alternate source of energy instead of gasoline.

A. As I tell my daughter, who is your age: "look it up". By this you need to search the internet for articles (or the library) to support your idea and find out if anyone has tried it and published results.

Just asking a question like that is very much the same as asking your parents to do your homework!

Bye the way, have you seen anyone squeezing lemons into their tank recently?

A. Lemon batteries are common science experiments. That is electrical energy, so it probably qualifies.
