Mechanised method for stripping electroplated cobalt from cathode

Is there a mechanised method (i.e. not using a hammer) for stripping electroplated cobalt and copper from cathode plates without affecting the copper and cobalt. Since this matter is of great importance any information would be appreciated.

I'm not aware of a mechanism for this purpose, but I will note that if you passivate the cathode with sodium dichromate or egg albumin, the plating should pull off easily.
