-----Adhesion problem on Kovar
Need help on this : I am plating electroless nickel on Kovar material, I use a 2% HF dip before a 50 degrees warm dip in 50% v/v HCl, however, I have adhesion problem and skip plating too.
any advice will be appreciated.

The only way I have found to be able to successfully plate on Kovar is to use a Watts nickel strike before the electroless.
