Distribution profile of current density in oblique barrel plating

Respected sir,
I am a researcher and somewhat new to the electroplating field.just I have start to electroplate small aluminium ball size 1 to .5mm diameter to plate electroless followed by electroplating of nickel. now after electroless nickel I have to electroplate them in nickel where I use oblique barrel which do not give bright nickel plating which earlier I was a ble to get in small screen and spoon in pot.
Please guide me to establish my barrel setting and oblige. Size of barrel is mouth 9 inch bottom 18 inch dia. hexagonal inclination 45 degree to horizontal plane rotating speed 17 rpm.
thanking you,

Tom Martin

Have you done a hull cell brightener check?
Do you have enough amperage available for this size load?
Do you have enough anode area?
Have you tried a smaller load?
