Zinc compatible with copper

Worried about copper conductor head draining into zinc downspout. will it ruin the zinc downspout

By zinc downspout, I assume that you mean galvanized steel.
You need to put some kind of plastic insulator strip between the contact points. Old milk bottle would work fine.
