What is Ford plating spec S900?




We are a plating co in Ohio and were asked to quote a plating job to a Ford spec S900 if you could please research this spec back to us we would really appreciate it. Thank you,

S900 is a designation that appears in Ford Worldwide Fastener Standard WX100 Finish Specification. It denotes a special finish that is identified on the part drawing. There are no specific requirements such as coating material, thickness, etc. These are supposed to be identified on the part drawing.
