Chemical resistant coating on brass that can withstand 100 deg C

Q. Respected sir
I use iodine [affil links] in brass container. I observe some corrosion of brass though iodine does not react with brass. Could you suggest some coating for brass that does not react with iodine and can withstand 100 °C temperature.
with thanks,

A. Dear sanjeev,

PVD and CVD coatings are the best coatings for any corrosion resistance problems, and will withstand to higher temperature (500-1100 °C). Any doubt please let me know.

Hi Angadala. So what PVD or CVD coating are you recommending for Sanjeev's situation of 100 °C iodine in a brass container? Thanks!
