Silver anodizing of 16 or 14 gauge wire

We have a possible application where it would be desirable to have a fine layer of silver on the surface of T304 or T201 stainless wire. What would be the best method and what might be the expected wear resistance of the finished product? (Wire would ultimately be sliding on a metal surface)

The phrase "anodizing" actually has nothing to do with it, Bill; anodizing is a process used on aluminum (and a few other metals). The stainless steel wire can be silver plated. Silver is sometimes plated onto stainless steel to reduce galling. One of the reasons it is used is because it is soft and flows, so it won't have great wear resistance though.
