Setting up a Gold Plating Company
Dear Sir,
I am interested in setting up a Gold Plating company in India.
Due to lack of availability of the industry I seek your guidance in setting up the same.
My products will be desk accessories in brass, where in intent to coat 24kt Gold on them.
Kindly assist if any one can.
Regards,

Electroplating is not like buying a new lathe or mill. There is a lot of "art" or black magic that goes with it as well as pure science. You need to hire a good gold plater to run your shop. Your city is huge, so there has to be more than one chemical solution vendor. Contact all of the ones that are available for their recommendations and costs. It will require a laboratory to control your tanks and preparatory tanks. Are you going to hire a person for this or shop it out to a lab. Good lab equipment is not cheap.
Do you really want to use 24 karat gold? It is very soft and will cost more than plating the same amount of a lower karat gold.
