Where can I buy liquid stone to duplicate my sculpted statues

2006

I am a sculptor who wishes to duplicate my statues using casting materials and a special type of liquid stone which hardens into the exact shape of the original statue. When placed inside the casting the liquid turns to stone. After pulling away the casting I would have an exact duplicate of the original sculpture.

What is this liquid stone?
Where can I by this liquid stone in order to duplicate my statues?

Hello Elisa. Simple plaster of paris is liquid stone in that context. So is concrete. You probably are thinking of something more specific, but what qualities are you looking for that plaster of paris and concrete do not offer?
