-----Seeking an electrically conductive aluminum coating
The part must be very susceptible to ambient static electricity (basically an attractor and ground.) The purpose for the coating is to prevent surface oxidation that could lower said susceptibility. Durability is less important because it won't be exposed to harsh environment, beyond ambient temperature variations.

Think gold or silver. If that costs too much, try nickel. What would be wrong with copper? Why not made of copper versus aluminum ?
