Commercial black chrome

Please explain what is commercial black chrome and where is used and what is estimate cost.

It can range from a very dark matte black, used in optics, to a more decorative smokey grey. It is basically chrome plating that has been contaminated in order to darken it. Sorry but I can't estimate the cost since it depends on so many factors, but quotes can be gotten.
