-----Alternative for Tri Chloro Ethylene
We are doing Hard Chromium plating for small arm barrels. In our process we are using Tri Chloro Ethylene or Benzol for cleaning oil and grease,as a better cleaning agent for small areas,now we are in the search of alternative for the above to avoid pollution. Your suggestion is highly invited.

There are literally thousands of cleaning products on the market nowadays that do not contain trichloroethylene, utilising many different types of technology.
It would be impossible for anyone to list all the alternatives.
Solutions have been suggested on several occasions on this site alone. Try using the search engine and see what you come up with first.
Just to give you a clue of how big a question you have asked is, here are some of the available technologies:
Perchloroethylene, methylene chloride, isoparaffinic hydrocarbons, HFEs, aqueous alkaline degreasers, d-limonines, etc, etc...
