Help with Zinc Cobalt on 380 Aluminum Die Cast components

We are having difficulty consistently plating 380 Aluminum Die Cast components with Zinc Cobalt. Any suggestions or direction for process lines?

Dear Mr Don.

A process that works for us is to first Double Zincate, Copper flash, Cobalt Zinc plate and passivate.

If you want to avoid the cyanide copper flash try normal Acid Zinc plating for a few minutes then go to cobalt zinc.
