Appropriate chemicals for electropolishing

Hi! I will do experiment on electrolytic polishing of copper for my undergraduate thesis.. I just want to know the appropriate chemicals and their concentration to treat this metal.. I will try 75% phosphoric acid and 25% sulfuric acid, I read they are usually used for most metals, but I am not yet sure if they give satisfactory results... Am I using the proper chemicals, if not, can you suggest what's suitable? I will greatly appreciate your answers..

Electroplating Engineering Handbook [on AbeBooks or eBay or Amazon] has a chapter on electropolishing that I believe you will find very informative, Glady.
