Want to learn art of chroming small items such as bike , car or other small items

Hello, am very interested in learning how to do chroming of small items just for myself, not as a business. I have always had a interested in this, but never new how or who to contact to get the right start in this venture. I don't have the slightest clue of anything about this, so if I do get feedback, it needs to start right from the get go. Will be waiting for someones reply.
