-----Permanence of Rhodium Plating
I'm looking at purchasing Rhodium plated jewelry (Sworovski). Is the jewelry most likely silver plated with Rhodium? If so, will it eventually fade to a dull silver kind of color and will it be noticeable?

Rhodium is a precious metal, more precious than gold. As such, it does not tarnish or fade. Of course, any object can get hundreds of tiny scratches that reduce specularity, which nothing can be done to prevent. And any plating can wear through; a poor plating very quickly. The reputation of the manufacturer is probably your best assurance that the plating is high quality.
