Prevention of loss of lustre of milled cast iron

2006

Dear sir,
We are facing a problem of "tarnishing of milled cast iron plates after some time of storage". Kindly let us know if any of you have worked on this subject and if you have any remedies.
If you require any details kindly let me know so that we can do the needful.

I would advise that you use VCI paper bags to store your parts; these are used in overseas shipping so they should work for internal storage applications beautifully as well.
Bright machined parts stay bright.
