-----Suggestions for mirror silvering a complex shape
I would like to silver the inner surface of a "cone like" shape for optical application (mirror finish required).
The cone entrance is 1 cm wide and exit is 1 mm , its length is 14 cm and the preferred base material is plastic.
So I would like to know if you could give me some advice to choose the most appropriate technique for this problem.
thanks,

I don't know about your specific case but the general requirements will most likely be similar to automotive lamp reflectors. A very good plastic mold design to avoid common molding problems (warpage, flow lines, etc.), a highly polished and preferably plated mold surface, the right plastic resin for strength and surface quality, a plastic processor dedicated to optic plastic parts and PVD silver deposition either direct or over a lacquer coated surface. Auto reflectors receive PVD aluminum instead of silver.
