I would like to build my own powder coating curing lamps.

What is the difference between short wave and medium wave infrared lamps? Are these the same short wave infrared lamps that are used at food counters to keep food warm?

What is the recommended wattage per bulb in order to achieve timely and clean curing of powder coating?
