Bright Zinc Plating with Chromate Passivation

With the introduction of WEEE, RoSH and ELV Directives, there is a move to remove all Chromium 6 based products as found in chromate. So my question is what is the alternative to chromate passivation used after zinc plating that will achieve the same result and comply with the new directives.

Substitute for the hexavalent passivate with trivalent. For more info do a search on the subject on this site. It's been discussed many, many times.
