Matte tin plating: thermal resistivity and oxidation





We use tin plating mil-t-10727 on our aluminum baseplates for PCB sweatdown/component soldering. What is the max SMT reflow temperature, and how many of these thermal cycles can the tin plating withstand before tin oxidation or intermetallic contamination occurs.
