Color Problem with PVD Deposits

2006

Hi,
We are using the PVD to finish our products to the place of the galvanic one
our problem is to set the colours the customers ask us up:
Question:
is it possible, with the PVD technique, to create some changes to the standard colours given by the type of support?
Es: the TiN gives a yellow colour: how can obtain a yellow one more clearly or more dark?
Thanks,

Albreto Bresolin

ZrN would be better to use than TiN. It yields a much lighter gold color and provides better corrosion resistance. It can be darkened easily by adding acetylene to your gas mix.
