How to make ferrous sulphate as a water flocculant

2006

I would like to know what is involved in making ferrous sulphate ferrous sulphate [affil links] for substituting aluminum sulphate as a flocculant. Is it a viable substitute?
Mine is in Honduras, Central America.

Thank you.

Nick Tzavaras
