Silver plating - electrolytic chromates

Does the application of an electrolytic chromate solution on silver plated components adversely affect or alter the properties of anti-seizure and anti-frettage?
The silver coating I apply is a "white" finish for engineering applications with 7.62-12.7 microns of silver as a specified thickness and is brightener, grain refiner and additive free. An electrolytic chromate is something I am pursuing as an option to reduce porosity, and subsequent corrosion, on the base metal which is Martensitic Steel (12% Chromium steel).

I have used it and do not think that any effect would be large enough to worry about. Have not formally tested it,tho. So if it is of concern, you probably should do at least a poor mans test.
