Hard Anodizing for Corrosion Protection from Methanol

2006

Hello,
Is Hard Anodize (0.002" thickness total) finishing on Aluminum a good method of protecting Aluminum (6061-T6) from Methanol? The item in question will be immersed in 100% Methanol for extended periods (4-5 years).

If not, is there a better method for protecting Aluminum against methanol?
Thanks,

Ned Ramiz
