Multilayer electrophoretic lacquer?

Can we use electrophoretic lacquers in multilayer system?

As of now only single coat Electrocoat systems are available in India. They are of two kinds. First is the Epoxy based which is used as a primer coat and can easily be given a spray top coat. Second is the Acrylic based which is used as a final coat.
