Polyurethane paints

2006

Dear Sir,

I want to know about the polyurethane paints. What is the efficiency of this paint and why should we use these paints ?

Thanks,

Atul Jain

Maybe you shouldn't use polyurethane paints, Atul :-)

Please tell us what is it that you want to paint and what the exposure conditions are, then maybe we can help. Because -- while you could either buy a book about polyurethane paints, or the readers could help you do a preliminary evaluation of polyurethane paints for your particular application -- for us to try to summarize the important parts of a book into a paragraph or two, without knowing anything about what is important to your application, just doesn't work. There are polyurethane wet paints, polyurethane powder paints, mixes of polyurethane plus epoxy, and more.

It's rather like me asking whether I should take a ship or a train without telling you where I'm trying to go. Thanks!

That's the internet for you. Ask how to get to Denver from Las Vegas and people tell you to go by oceanliner :-)

But seriously, Atul, tell us about what it is that you want to paint.
