Need to recoat 1943 zinc plated pennies

2006

I have a very large collection of 1943 pennies and would like to replate the zinc coating on them. They are in very good shape but have lost the shine of the zinc. I would like to get what is needed to replate them myself or have them plated.

Chad Curtis Lawson

2006

Simple zinc plating solution:
250 gm zinc sulphate [affil link]
45 gm boric acid
45 gm magnesium sulphate
1 lit water
pure zinc anodes(or stainless steel)
Good luck and hope it helps!
