How to remove PVC glue from hair and body

2006

I need to know if anyone out there knows how to help me out. My husband was using the glue on an overhead project and the glue spilled. It covered a good portion of his head and ran down his back etc. Does anyone know how to remove it from his hair? We tried just cutting the hair but it actually glued the hair to the scalp in one large area. Please help.

Try Q-tip [affil link] immersed in acetone [adv: item on eBay & Amazon] (very combustible,be careful), or mixture of 1 part water, 1 part acetone [adv: item on eBay & Amazon] and some corn starch or wheat flour (result must be thick paste)! Avoid any contact with eyes! Rinse well! Hope it helps and good luck!
