What is the Advantage of Powder Coated Stainless Steel Junction Boxes

We have asked to apply powder coating on our supplied stainless steels L316 series junction boxes. We don't think that any additional coating is required but this is our client request to apply. I want to know, what is the technical reason to apply power coating on Stainless Steel.
