Second De Embrittlement required after plating?
If a bolt has been de-embrittled for 8 hours, and is then electro zinc plated does the bolt need to be re de-embrittled? if so for how long! many thank,

Yes, if the tensile strength is 1200* MPa, it shall be baked at
190* C for 3* hours within 4 hours of plating (and prior to chromating or other supplemental treatment) -- ASTM B633.
*or greater.
Note that hydrogen embrittlement relief baking is preventative;
'de-embrittlement' suggests that damage can be undone. Or, is that UK terminology?
