Mirror like layer is needed instead of pink layer in acid copper electroplating

2006

Greetings,
after acid copper electroplating bright pink layer was formed, I had to grind it to have a shiny board (PCB), some plated-through-holes was damaged after this, is there any way to have a mirror like layer without mechanical process, thanks.

The pink color probably indicates large crystalline plating, whereas you are seeking a fine grained and leveled deposit, Ramy. The easiest path to improvement is to buy a proprietary acid copper plating bath, which will include the necessary addition agents to achieve that kind of plating, and operational instructions for it.
