Chrome plating on plastic - ESD problem

Our current ABS plastic, for decoration reason, is coated with hot stamping to get the chrome looking. However, the conductive foil leads to 8kV ESD discharge issue. I'm not sure if there has non-conductive foil available in the market, or don't know if the finishing changed to vacuum aluminium deposit can fix the problem.

They can be processed by vacuum plating or vacuum coating. Using vacuum aluminium plating as the surface treatment , or undergoing paint spray and sand blasted,as well as anode treatment,so your problem might be solved by these ways. these is factory supply the service in this line .
