-----Sand coatings?
We are looking at building a machine to provide a thin coating of sand bonded to individual steel blocks in a continuous process. Has anyone here sprayed or coated sand onto any other object before? The best way I can describe what we want is "shaken bake" onto steel blocks, without the plastic bag...
Anyway, any helpful comments would be appreciated, James

Talk to suppliers of reflective road paint. The white 'paint' is actually a thermoplastic that goes down soft. Then you pour the glass beads over it and they sink in or are pressed in. Then the paint hardens. Sounds very similar.
