Trivalent chromate plating with black finish

I currently have an automotive program that requires a black zinc chromate finish on a lever that I in turn over mold a plastic knob. The product has a requirement for a high quality visual appearance. There is also a 48 hour salt spray requirement. However, the focus is on the appearance as the part is used in an interior application.

I have had trials ran on some trivalent black with no success. The appearance has not yet been close to the quality of the Hexavalent product.

Do you know of a Trivalent zinc black that is delivering a high quality appearance?
