Need a reliable decorative chroming system
We have plate plastic, aluminium, mdf board in interior finishing work at a shipyard in Scandinavia.
We have tried products of [names of two well-known manufacturers of chrome-look paint deleted], they do not work. These producers promise a lot, but give nothing. Has anybody information of a more reliable manufacturer. KK

Those products are on display on show cars constantly and are featured regularly on TV programs focused on car painting. Many large outdoor signs and sculptures are painted with them for the world to see. So, although few things match their sales hype, it is too strong a statement to say that they "do not work". They are, however, shiny paint; they are not nickel-chrome plating and may not meet your needs for any number of reasons.
I think you might investigate whether a different technology like vacuum metallizing or real nickel-chrome plating is what you need. The plastic brightwork on tens of millions of cars is real nickel-chrome plating, so at the least you won't be reporting back that this product promises a lot but gives nothing :-)
