How to prepare anodizing film of aluminum alloy with electric particles?

Q. Xiao Huan
2006
I want to carry out anodization on the surface of aluminum alloy with electric particles in it. The particles in aluminum alloy have better electricity. I want to know what is effect of the particle on the anodizing process. thanks.

A. But what are the particles made of?

Q. I am sorry. I don't write my question completely. My question is following down:
I want to carry out anodization on the surface of aluminum alloy with electric particles in it. The particle is TiB2. Because the particles have good electricity, so I want to know what is effect of the particle on the anodizing process. Thanks.

A. While titanium diboride is conductive, I don't believe that its conductivity is anywhere close to that of aluminum. Hence my guess is that it will approximate a non-conductive particle and the anodize coating will merely form around it. Yet this is only my speculation- I have no empirical evidence.

Q. I want to carry out anodization on the surface of aluminum alloy matrix composites reinforced with TiB2 particles in order to improve the corrosion resistance. But these reinforced particles assemble at the grain boundary of the composites, which is not changed by me.So the anodizing film can not be reformed at the place with particles by use of the normal anodizing method. The film is discontinuous.
My question is following down:
1¡¢because the TiB2 particles have good electricity, so I want to know what is effect of the particle on the anodizing processing.
2¡¢what technology can be used for obtaining a continuous film on the surface of my materials.
3¡¢what other method except anodizing can be used to improve the corrosion resistance of my composites?
Please give me some advice, thanks!

Xiao Huan
