Need Parachlorobenzotrifluoride (PCBTF) thinner
Looking for PCBTF! My company produces (and paints) air craft cargo loaders and a variety of other things. We are currently using a Mil-T-81772 thinner to reduce one of our paints. Because of the HAPs and VOCs we would like to change. The Air Force has approved parachlorobenzotrifluoride for this. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it (and a vendor of it).
Thanks for the help! KellyKelly Draper

We have been using Oxsol 100 for about five years and have found it to work very well as a replacement for many solvents. Its also compatible with most solvent based coating resins. Most likely your coating can be reformulated using Oxsol 100 and other exempt solvents to produce the same finish you're using now, and meet all VOC requirements.
