Looking for that new process for Magnesium

I have heard of a new coating for Magnesium (and Aluminium and Titanium) which transforms the surface to an inert ceramic layer and exhibits excellent corrosion and wear resistance. It also appears to use no environmentally unfriendly chemicals at all. Does anyone know where I can find this process or what it is called?

I'm researching on Mg finishes as well, and I had a response about electro-ceramic coating, could be what you are looking for.

The coating you looking for could be PEO (= plasma electrolytic oxydation).

Good luck.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
