Carbon Dioxide as a Replacement for toxic solvents

Waste solvents can be dangerous, toxic things. Technology has been developed using surfactants dissolved in CO2 which make excellent solvents. These are being used in the dry cleaning industry, used to coat fabrics and they have many other uses. Does anyone have any more information on the uses of these types of compounds, especially fluorinated and silicone surfactants and polymers which improve the solubility in CO2.
