Surface waviness removal before chroming
2005
Hi,
We have had some quarter bumpers pressed in mild steel. However, we cannot get all the surface waviness out of the material before chroming. I would be grateful if anyone can advise us on the best process for getting the surface of the steel smooth enough to be able to effectively chrome.
Many thanks,

There are a number of processes for removing surface imperfections, but I am having some difficulty understanding what you mean by waviness. Is it possible to submit a photograph of the parts in question?
