Need a example write up of a business plan for starting a plating business

If anyone may have a example of a business plan write up, or were I may find one on the internet for starting a plating business. In the works of starting a plating shop in Ohio. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Merlin,

I need to write a business plan for a plating shop as well (trying to get an SBA loan to start a plating shop), I would like to hear how it is coming for you. My plan is to order some software that helps write business plans. It would be nice see one already written, but I haven't seen any, and I have searched plenty (over the internet).

Merlin,
When I started my business 12 years ago, I got counceling from a non-profit mentoring group called SCORE, made up of retirees with tons of experience. They hooked us up with our local chamber of commerce. Both of these groups counceled us through doing a business plan. A big part of a business plan is finacial records and projections. Writing a business plan is a process. We were told not to use the software route by our mentor. Look to your local SCORE and Chamber for help. There is only one plating shop serving our city and many other towns in SW Va. If your area lacks the competition ours does, you should have a good shot starting something that offers a specialized high dollar service that would bring in a substantial tax money for the local coffers. Good luck.
