Home antique finishing kit for brass and silver?




hello.... I am looking for an inexpensive kit to make brass as well as silver finishes look like antique bronze. since I am disabled, I cannot go to any hobby shops or the like to locate what I am looking for. any help or suggestions out there? any good ideas or suggestions where I get obtain such a kit would be very helpful. thanx everyone!

Hi, Gail. brass darkening solution [on eBay or Amazon] will turn brass a dark antique color. liver of sulfur [on eBay or Amazon] will turn silver blackish.

You can't make silver into a "yellow" metal, because it is a "white" metal, but you could consider applying a Rub'N'Buff [affil links]. Good luck with it.
