How Mononium Phosphate oxidizes cast iron cylinders with Cr Metallization?
We found in our tissue mill that MAP(Mononium Phosphate is helpful for dryer cylinder protection. The Yankee dryer is cast iron cylinder with Cr Metallization.
I want to know is there any Oxide reaction between MAP and metal like cast iron?

Please respond with the chemical formula for MAP. Phosphate coatings have been applied for years to iron, so it may not be a problem, if we know the other conditions, like humidity, other salts present, pH of the water.
