-----Electroless nickel with SiC and solid lubricants
2005
Hi dear sir/madam,
Now I am working on a project about Ni-P-SiC-X(x:MoS2,PTFE,& SOME OTHER SOLID LUBRICANTS).
I need some information about composition of solution.and also I want to know how can I start this & what parameter I should consider.
Best regards

Dear Mahmood Noroozi,
You can use any hypophosphite based bath formualtion that is available in the published literature for preparing the Ni-P-SiC-X composite coatings. Depending on your requirement, the bath formulation can be modified sutiably so that you could prepare the coatings with the desired properties.
The important factor when adding particles like MoS2 and PTFE is the selection of proper surface active agents to disperse them effectively in the plating bath.
PTFE suspension is available commercially.
