-----Hard Chrome resistant coatings
We have been using automatic plating equpiment for hard chrome plating. The jigs that are carrying jobs into the plating baths are dipped in the chrome solution during plating process and getting corroded very fast. We have tried with various FRP coating,PVC coating etc.. Even then the life of the jigs are only 6- 8 months. can anybody suggest any coating method to increase the life of the jigs.

No Man, thats only how much long the Plastisol will last.
Some guys put additional flexible pipe sleeves over the plastisol, it may be working, who knows, but its wishful thinking if you ask me.

A high quality plastisol coating is as good as it gets. a fair quality coat will only last half as long. Depending on use, 8 months seems like a fair amount of time.
When it wears out, burn off the coating in a burn off oven and recoat. Cheaper than a whole new jig. You should be able to recoat a couple of times to several times, depending on the jig durability.
