Looking to mirror or chrome finish a bridge for artwork

 2005

We are creating an art installation in which we wish to cover a small highway bridge in mirrors. Covering it in real mirror is too cost prohibitive for us. We are looking at alternatives such as chrome paint or acrylic mirror or polished aluminum, etc. to real mirror. It needs to be industrial strength, scratch-proof, vandal-proof and weather resistant to cold climates.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks

How about bolting or gluing on very thin mirror polished stainless steel sheet? There is no such thing as scratchproof and vandal-proof, but stainless steel is pretty rugged.
